Mr. Pape is a customer centric sales and operations leader. He has a track record for delivering growth and profitability in complex multi-channel markets and has successfully lead businesses ranging from early stage start-ups to very large mature industrial brands. Jim Pape is an uncompromising leader with strong sales DNA and a lean operations background who has lead an impressive series of business transformations.

Most recently, Jim was a Division President for Filtration Group Corporation where he assimilated 4 global acquisitions, by the Private Equity owners, into a single professional growth culture. Before Filtration Group, Jim was the CEO of EnerVault Corporation, a grid-scale energy storage system start-up.

Pape has profound experience in the industrial product markets through several of his past leadership roles. With SunPower Corporation (President of Residential & Commercial) Pape helped deliver growth and predictable demand by aggressively adding productive dealers to the global channel map and, by leveraging the direct to end user channel via the company’s internal construction and project management capability. With Trane Commercial Systems (VP & GM, North America) he lead a very large P&L ($5B+) through a challenging market by consolidating non-customer facing activities and by redirecting the organization to push the Trane brand into the design community, insuring a stronger share position as the market recovered. At Johnson Controls Inc. (General Manager) Pape lead the turnaround of an underperforming business by top grading the team and leading them to win several large and groundbreaking deals.

Mr. Pape's early career was in the military and commercial aerospace markets where he was the VP/GM of Bearing Inspection Incorporated and immediately post-University, Mr. Pape was with AlliedSignal Aerospace for a 12 year span, culminating in a role as the Director of Marketing, Sales and Service for the Douglas Aircraft account team.

Pape has specific passions and experience in the design and construction of intelligent / smart buildings. Here his unique background in HVAC, Facility Controls, Energy Services, Solar, Demand Response, Energy Storage and Advanced "Smart" Windows make him a uniquely qualified subject matter expert. He is well equipped in all areas of general management, sales, operations and strategy.
