Rainer works with Kainosconsulting since 2009 in several projects. His most recent assignment as interim CEO EMEA for a U.S. Corporation requires restructuring of several European Operations.

Prior to joining Kainosconsulting, Rainer was CEO of Vincotech. He formed the Vincotech Group, headquartered in Germany and manufacturing plants in Shenzhen, China and Bicske, Hungary. The business had revenues of approx $100m and 600 employees globally. Vincotech was a carve out from Tyco Electronics Power Systems (TEPS). Rainer joined TEPS as Vice President - EMEA in September 2004. In this position, he was responsible for the implementation of the business strategy within the European market. Rainer has executed on the expansion of the business into the emerging markets in Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Africa, and was responsible for the significant growth and profitability with the Services business in India. 

Rainer was also responsible for the global Electronic Modules business, headquartered in Germany, and has initiated the turnaround of the business in refocusing on core products and markets.

Rainer has spent most of his earlier career working in the area of finance and administration.  He served as General Manger Finance & Administration at Raychem GmbH, now Tyco Electronics Raychem GmbH. Prior to joining TEPS, Rainer was the Divisional CFO of the Energy Division of Tyco Electronics and had responsibility for the Energy Operations in Germany and Ireland, the entire Axiom business, and the group’s M&A activities (division acquired 15 businesses from 1999-2001). Rainer also worked in various roles as Assistant Controller, Controller, and Finance & Administration Manager for Eastern Europe and as CFO for the Irish Operation with a 4 year term in Shannon, Ireland.

Rainer received his Degree in Business Administration from the University of Applied Sciences Munich in 1982.
